On 23 May we broadcast a programme on the music of Italy following my trip to the Dissonanze festival in Rome. There I interviewed Charlemagne Palestine (pictured). We aired some of that, overlaid with an excerpt from his piece Sweet Quasimodo Between Black Vampire Butterflies For Maybeck, Pt.1. We also played music by Vivaldi on Glass Harmonica, Berio, Scelsi and others.
